Part-Time Mail Clerk


The incumbent in this position is responsible for sorting and distributing incoming documents into predetermined categories, and/or shipment of outgoing mail and packages.


Sorts and prepares incoming documents by category according to established guidelines.

Provides coverage for Front Desk as necessary; greet visitors as necessary.

Sorts, prepares and distribute incoming and/or outgoing mail, including inter-office.

Prepares and distributes interoffice supply orders.

On occasion, incumbents in this position may be assigned to operate the AIMS machine, which inserts, folds and seals documents for outgoing mail; work performed in a higher classification will be paid in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
