Fixed Income Trader I

At Edward Jones, we help clients achieve their serious, long-term financial goals by understanding their needs and implementing tailored solutions. To ensure a personal client experience, we have located our 15,000+ branch offices where our more than 7 million clients live and work.

In a typical branch office, a financial advisor meets with clients and receives branch office support, so they can focus on building deep relationships with clients. Headquarters associates in St. Louis, Tempe and Mississauga provide support and expertise to help U.S. and Canada branch teams deliver an ideal client experience. We continue to grow to meet the needs of long-term individual investors.

The Agent Trading Department within Edward Jones is primarily responsible for providing our Financial Advisors with a broad supply of highly diversified and fairly priced corporate, rates, and municipal products that may be used to fulfill the unique needs of every one of our more than 7 million clients. Our goal is to identify and analyze opportunities in the marketplace while always seeking to provide the best execution possible on every trade we handle.

As a Trader I, expectations are that you would have a strong and growing interest in capital markets, proficient risk management skills, and be able to make capital commitments with minimal oversight. In addition to the above trading responsibilities, this may be the ideal opportunity for those looking to drive the strategic direction of the Trading desk and help the firm evolve how fixed income solutions are delivered to clients.
